Duane Richardson, MMR
Our lead designer is a second generation modeler and the first in 4 generations not to work for a railroad. His family's roots are in Missouri where they worked for the Frisco. Duane began modeling airplanes at age 6 and by 9 was weathering his WWII aircraft with an airbrush. While his Dad modeled in HO, Duane's first layout was in N-Scale and was set up to keep him out of the way during operating sessions. A move to Texas in 1984 also saw a move to HO and shortly there after to HOn3. |

Recently he finished the requirements with the NMRA's Achievement Program to become Master Model Railroader #391. Duane's love of Colorado narrow gauge railroads is reflected in his designs of smaller, rustic buildings that will give a time worn look to your layout. |
